  • The cafe is cozy, conveniently located close to the road. The menu is diverse, portions are adequate and fair priced. It is child friendly with a spacious playground that has swings, a trampoline a garden area. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Also, there is a souvenir shop where you can get different crafts, kitenge prints, beads, tote bags and so much more.

  • I'm here in Moshi Tanzania volunteering at an NGO for a week. I've been having dinner many a night, so I've gotten to try many different foods. I have totally enjoyed each dish. It's made fresh, looks beautiful, tastes fabulous. They have a wide variety of food; Mexican, Italian, Tanzanian, American. A friend ordered the avocado toast and I was thinking avocado toast like I would get in my home town which tends to be little, a starter. This one was huge. The hummus added another dimension taking it to a whole other level. My only adjustment would be for the egg to be runny. I had the Mexican salad with chicken. It was wonderful. The tomatoes are so fresh, firm, and flavorful, corn salsa adds a touch of sweetness, I think it's romaine lettuce, it gives nice crunch, big plentiful chunks of luscious creamy avocado and shredded cheese. Not too much which was great for me. I don't handle diary well. It came with homemade flour tortilla chips. I liked dipping the chips in the dressing it comes with. Normally I don't put dressing on my salad, so it was nice the dressing came on the side, though it was delicious so I did use it. I also dipped my chips in it. I recommend getting the salsa and guacamole and adding that to it. I think I could have done well to share it was a lot of food. I also had the coconut fish fingers. They were great, I wasn't thrilled with the vegetables, they had no seasoning and were too soft for me, but when I mixed them with the 2 sauces it came with and a little hot sauce it was fine. The rice, I think, was to have coconut milk, but I didn't taste it. I could taste the coconut on the fish though and it was cooked nicely. I enjoyed it. Oh then there is dessert, smoothies, incredible Tanzanian coffee and... I could go on and on. Just go check it out. The food is made fresh so expect a little wait for it.

  • Courage Cafe will not disappoint! Visiting from California and found this amazing spot near my B&B. Excellent service, great food, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I really enjoyed eating outside and highly recommend the cinnamon rolls and lasagna but also everything else I had was amazing.

  • Courage Cafe in Moshi is a hidden gem! We spent our Saturday afternoon here and absolutely loved it. The rich, aromatic coffee was a delight, complemented by a menu that tantalizes taste buds. We had cappuccinos and salads. So tasty! And the property is beautiful, full of beautiful local plants and trees. It’s a peaceful and relaxing spot. But what sets this place apart is their commitment to empowering local women – the beautifully crafted goods on display are a testament to their skill and resilience. A must-visit for a heartwarming experience that goes beyond just great coffee!

  • Really great place to eat. I had the vegetarian Swahili platter and the grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. My friend had the veggie sandwich. All was very good. The smoothies were delicious.

  • Nice place in Moshi, they have some vegan options. I love the lentil fritters and also the pea curry is good. Not a big fan of the vegetarian plate instead, you might as well just get the pea curry.

  • I have been here for breakfast and dinner. It is amazing. The gardens with tables are beautiful. The food is great. I’m American so was great to have a break from African food and get food that I would eat in America. The avocado toast for breakfast was beautiful and very filling. I couldn’t even finish it. The Chicken Mexican salad for dinner was super tasty and also very filling. I had a hot mocha and an iced mocha and both were excellent. And just as good was that all proceeds go to support the rescue of trafficked girls. I highly recommend whether you just want a good coffee drink or a full breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Great place!
